Vams is a two-strand yarn spun from 100% Norwegian wool. It is a full-bodied wool yarn, making it ideal for light knit garments and a perfect choice for beginners. Vams is very suitable for felting, thicker clothes and structured knitting. It is lightly spun and contains a lot of air, giving large garments a light and airy feel.

Norwegian wool is renowned for its durability and wear resistance. Rauma uses wool from adult sheep to give the yarn increased durability and to minimize the risk of pilling. Garments that are knitted in 100% untreated wool only need to be aired to become fresh again.

Vams is produced in Rauma's factory in Romsdalen, Norway.
